Virtual Class: Bhangra & Yoga

This one-hour class will have 2 segments: Bhangra dance and Yoga! The class will begin with 30 minutes of Bhangra, an energetic and joyful folk dance originating in North India. The choreography will be simple and easy to learn. The emphasis in this class will be on having fun, and not on getting it perfect! The dance segment will be followed by a calming 30-minute yoga practice focused on breath and movement.

No dance or yoga experience needed. This is a class to have fun and move!

When: First Wednesday of the Month

Your Host: Smita Khatri is a lover of movement! She has taught dance since 2007, and yoga since 2015. Through her classes, Smita encourages you to tune in to the body and breath; to discover ease, freedom and individual expression in each movement; and most importantly, to enjoy and play!
